Buddhas & Raft Houses
In Bangkok we check out the amazing Royal Palace and the massive golden Buddha of Wat Po, cruise the canals (known as klongs) and learn to cook delicious Thai food after shopping for our own ingredients in its bustling markets. Be careful with the chilli! We then journey by longtail boats along the Kwai Noi river to stay in raft houses, a type of floating hotel room from where we enjoy bamboo rafting and cycle through the jungle to explore a limestone cave.

Homestay & Elephants
An overnight train takes us to South Thailand where we stay with local families and get the chance to join in with village life, perhaps fishing in the mangroves or farming rice and coconuts. In the nearby Khao Sok National Park our lodge is right in the jungle - you might wake-up to the sound of screeching monkeys! We ride elephants through the ancient rainforest to a nearby waterfall and set out to explore this amazing place on foot in the company of a naturalist guide.

Chill out on the Beach
We spend our final days on the paradise island of Koh Samui where the sands are white, sea is warm and you can do as much or as little as you like. We've included a boat trip into the Ang Thong Marine National Park where the snorkelling is superb. There's also the chance to explore the island's interior or improve your culinary skills at the island's cooking school.
